thinking of putting summer coolant in rad for rover 3.5,any use it?is it worth putting in.£20 at argos...Thanks

I don't know what summer coolant is even ? I've always kept a 50/50 antifreeze mix in all year round especially in an ali engine as it prevent scorrosion and 50/50 gives the best cooling .

I don't know either. As Kapri says, 50/50 provides the best heat density of the coolant

Yeh could be a water wetter or 40 below equivalent.

Halford anti-freeze summer coolant.protects against over heating and freezing.acts ascorrosion inhibitor and is methanol free.but if you boys use anti freeze thats good enough for me. cheers.

I use a good quality anti freeze year round. Have used Redline water wetter in a Jensen which was marginal in traffic and it certainly helped a little.
