you helped me with the servo so I KNOW you'll help me with this!

Got to rebuild it but it thought it might help to know what it is.....:shake:

Escort? Has discs....XR3 perhaps?

See, i knew you wouldn't let me down! Anything in particular I need to know when ordering bits? Such as year etc or are they fairly standard?

its all basic off the shelf stuff chas as long as its 4 stud ford and not 5 stud p100

I wouldn't do them all . Fine on the inner A arm bushes but the strut bar really needs some rubber to allow 'compliance' ( posh word for conflicting arcs of travel that need give to make them work). Without compliance something will break ,just a question of when. Like on a Cortina rear I'll urethane everything EXCEPT the 2 bushes next to the diff where I use heavy duty rubber estate bushes.

Are you adding any extra bracing higher up? Cortina's had the chassis rails kicked up and they bolted higher up on the subframe than yours is, it has been known for the subframe to start to bend inwards if its mounted to the chassis lower down as yours appears to be.
