Apart from being a nice fella HotRod aka Phil is a mean painter and a dab hand with a polishing mop. I recently PM'd him asked for some help in learning the art of mopping. I just missed out on working for a high end car dealer as a detailer due to not being able to mop a car.

Apart from the fact it's a great skill to have I'd like to learn the art and possibly go for a silimlar job in a similar place.

Phil sent me a couple of old US car mags with some great tech articles in them covering mopping etc and also gave me some sound advice:tup:

Cheers mate and the address details you wrote on the big envelope made me smile. Funny fooker.

Nice one and catch you at HRD's for a beer or 10.

There's not many people who can do it properly, so easy to do a some expensive damage, on the flip side though, some very impressive results can be obtained by sheer hard graft. although the shoulder muscles can give some grief after mopping a faded paint car.
