The breaking down aspect might be a feature, kind of like making journeys interesting again! Those evil petrol and diesel engined vehicles had got too reliable.

How many of us have nursed a recalcitrant bit of old machinery home eg I remember once coming home from Beaulieu with the car overheating and losing all its coolant and topping up every few miles with water from puddles. Makes a great anecdote down for the pub.

Driving home and waiting for a thunderstorm and hoping for a flash of lightning to recharge your battery might make the journey home a lot longer than intended though. ;)
