we took the a40 on the trailer to our pals workshop, weston performance in shirley to use the, er private road to test the a40 today
all went to plan, no leaks nothing, got up to temp and ran a treat, to say we were chuffed is an understatement, for those who know the car and me n tom harris, you will know the score, for those who dont its a car that has been funded by tom, on 30 quid a week ema money he gets while studying motorsport engineering at college, theres no billet parts, no trick rear ends or trannies, no stroker motor, just what he could afford when he could, with a bit of help from me, so for around a grand, he now has a car ready for rwyb, a 50 yr old car, built to look like it was around 50yrs ago! and it surely goes well, feels like an easy 14 sec car, maybe if it pulls well through the gears 13s. today was a dream realised for tom, next step avon park in 2 weeks, should of been the hrd,s last sep but it didnt work out, this time it will be there

Thanks guys..Hi fox & hounds, keeping it short, it has a 3.5 sd1 motor with a 390 holley and range rover tublar headers. It has a gm180 box (3 speed auto) and a scimitar rear axle with the scimitar 4 link set up. It pulls really well for its budget.

Dont really need crew guy, thanks for asking though mate, and big thanks for the stuff youve done for us! really apreciate it and hope we can help you in the future somehow if you need it!
