Hi,

I have asked this question in lots of places and had no reply, so thought I'd ask here.

Does anybody know the distance between the Track control arm inner points on a Capri crossmember?..

Cheers

Cheers m8, your a star :D... My crossmember measures 650mm, I was told it was a Capri front end but I'm starting to think its a mixture of Capri & something else... Need to get the rack boots off & measure the rack pivot points :)..

Thanks again m8..

The Capri crossmember differences are only in the engine mounts, and whether it has PAS. So, you have 4 pot crossmembers, all of which have manual steering. Then there's the mk1 3.0l which has manual steering, and the mk2/3 3.0l which is PAS. And finally, the 2.8i which is PAS, although Americans got Cologne engines with manual racks. You won't have one of those!
They are all directly interchangeable.
