Creepy!! But the comment about American Servicemen leaving their cars there at the end of WW2 made me laugh........as though 1000s of Servicemen took their cars to war with them!!

There used to be dozens of 30s/40s Yank cars and trucks in the fields next to Cranfield Aerodrome .
All left by American servicemen when they went home after WWII.
If you caught the old fella who owned the land in a good mood he would show you round.
All gone now though, I think he died and the land was sold.

Some of them cars a definitely from the 50s so unless they had some sort of a time warp the WW11 idea goes out of the window. Wondered if there are any Belgium guys on the forum that could throw some light on this.
