Hi All.
Ok Just about to change my rear axle from a 6 stud 5.7 -1 to a 5 stud 4.1-1 , it can only be positioned below the leaf springs, (not on top of them). I was told i need to fit tramp bars to stop the axle from trying to twist away from the leaf springs on take off. My question is. If the tramp bar brackets are welded to the top of the axle either side of the diff what position in relation to those brackets will the other ends need to be to maintain a perfect arc when the suspention moves up and down under load. or does it make no difference?

P.s it will be running a V8 with auto box.
