I'm not sure if it's already been asked on this thread, but does anyone know what happened to the 'Hot Car' magazine project PA? It was orange with a tube front axle and stock engine IIRC.

 

it was won by a lady who sold it on as far as i know, thats all i can recall...

 

 

thats still about owner took it abroad in bits i think & rebuilt it i believe, mint as pic...

I love the pictures of the PA's (mind you, I would, wouldn't I?) especially the ones with the Fender Skirts on. I love PA's, always have but..the only one thing I'm not too keen on is the rear wheel arches...I always thought the designers should have 'copied' Fords idea re the MK2 C/Z/Z's. Would have been more in keeping with the body style but of course, that's only my opinion. While I'm here; has anyone got any more PA photo's with Fender Skirts on please?

Well mine were held on with spring clips around the edge which went behind the arch and a self tapping screw at the lower front and rear to secure them in place. To be honest with you I'm not a fan of them and gave mine to another PA owner

 

Thanks for that. Just wondering; if that other PA owner is reading this and didn't use them, would he like to move them on I wonder? Then, if I did end up with them, the only other hurdle to get over is actually owning a PA. Still you never know.....Seriously though, thanks for the info.

Helloooo. I've recently purchased this '59 PA Velox. Just wondering; did anyone here own this (Before Spencer bought it) or do you know any previous owners by any chance? One of the things I'd like to know is what colour is the red please? Also, any other history of the car would be most welcome. All I know at the moment is it's a 1959 August London registered car. I think the colour was blue.
