Well , just thought i would start my new thread on here with a big hello to all.
There is a reason that i have been quiet for a while which is unusual for me but i have not seen my escort for a month or so as it is with a mate of mine, in his workshop to be precise getting its new paint.
We did a deal a while ago in that i built him a roll cage and he done mine, i have yet to see it but he phoned today to say that i can pick it up saturday, so hopefully there will be some pictures on here then .......................oh yeah it is vey purple..............which is great cause i'm colour blind................so it could even be in a different colour and i would not know...................:tumbleweed::tumbleweed:

Can you cut 'n paste the nsra build thread on to here Vin?
Its not too difficult, go to each post, click on the edit function, then copy & paste the text to this site's reply box.
Look forward to more progress shots from you.
just tried to get on the locked forum to get some pictures but it takes me to the new one even though it is the original message board.

here we go,the hubs have the original disc mounting machined off, there is an 18mm spacer that put the caliper further from the wheel as the clip on the caliper was just hitting the wheel, the hubs were then redrilled and threaded enabling the disc to be bolted from the back using 1/2 unf bolts,i know this will be more than strong enough but i found my self drillig 4 more holes and tapping the spacer so i can use 8 in total 1/2" bolts to hold the discs on, just got to go and buy the right size socket head bolts now as i know this now works

Looking good Vin, not sure about the single exhaust personally though.
cheers ,single exhaust is abit marmite, just going to shorten it a bit,it is single all the way from behind the dizzy ,it just made it easier to get the car low to the ground with a bit of decent clearance also it will fool people when they see the 1300 l badge on the back:shocked:
