Gingernut -That is a bull terrier sometimes called a ENGLISH Bull Terrier. He dose look very proud to be English:lol:

I missed that one,Speedy.Call myself a dog man!LOL
English bull Terrier came into being around 1860 when James Hinks of Birmingham crossed white marked Staffs back to the English White Terrier in an effort to create a 'game' terrier for the dog pits.However,it was unable to compete with the Staffs .Had they not become 'fashionable' with the gentry(who nicknamed them The White Cavalier) they may very well have dissapeared.
