1960 mercury monterey offside rear body trim, blue tint glass, doors and maybe body cuts?

Also looking for a deep throat swager and 24-36" rollers?

oh and a steel dash to fill the void in my 42 truck cab... doesnt need to be 42 ford just anything that can be modded to fit.

Theres not a lot left of that mate is there

It might be worth contacting Steve thats doing some of our tech features as he is in the states and knows hes way around steel

Going by that pic its almost a flat panel tho isnt it ? have you got a pic at an angle showing the bulkhead/firewall or a pic of the other side if it isnt as bad so the metal gurus can see the shape a bit better

Hi Hillbilly
Here is a link , http://fordor.com/category.cfm?cat=1938-1947 Ford Truck Parts&dept=3246ford

14 Items down you will find this panel ,the place is Howell' sheet metal, There pretty pricey , and I have never delt with them. How much is there to attach to? How obtainable are these truck cabs over your way? Steve
thanks for the quick response. i'll take a look. the cabs are not easy to come by here though i guess it would be easier to import another lol. the bulk head is ok and i have removed the wood and boxed in the door post so there is something to weld to. The oter side is much better so i have already made a reversable template should it come to that.
The panel isnt perfectly staight it has a mild convex to it but very mild will stick up pics of the other side..

And yes it is very far gone. though a lot stronger than when i first got it.

thanks again

This place may be able to help with parts for the Mercury and pickup, they've got a '60 Monterey but as the pics in the link show, the o/s rear is not the best. Sunman Ford is closing down early 2010.

I can't make out if your truck is a half ton or the 1 ton, if its larger i've seen this for £485 + import costs from South Dakota, drop me a PM if you'd like more info on it.
i recon 1 ton.. it was a snow machine..

pm me more details.

PM sent. Forgot to add I'd would have thought that the place with the truck may also have the Monterey parts too.

For slightly curved panels I think I'd be visiting the local scrappy and cutting up a roof or door skin from something suitable.
