Highly Modified Morris Minor running a 3.5 litre Rover V8
Car has been off the road for a few years but recently recommissioned with 90% of the work required compelted - Now a nice easy Spring project for someone with more time and inclination than me to finish off ahead of this years shows.
Full walk around of the car can be found via the following link:
Well known car in the Anorak club and has been around in its highly modified state since the mid 90s. Correctly registeted and road legal in its current state - if you were to build a car like this today.... the costs and the technicalities to register correctly youd have a fun time!
Not to everyones taste but there are some weirdos out there! Car has a great back story as it wouldnt be around if it hadnt been saved from a scrap heap in Ireland by the person who built it so a conversation stopper for the purists! Won best Custom at the last National event it attended. Completed a few track events over the years in it woth mr JLH and Horace as well!
This car is extremely rapid, handled amazingly and was a drive anywhere Minor.
Based shell is 1969 but has been converted to a Lowlight configuration up front. Dead easy to change back if you want to for any reason.
The spec of car is as follows.
Powertain
Running gear
- New AVO coilover suspension units.
Brakes and wheels
Interior
Exterior
The bad bits.
To get it back on the road you'll need to bleed the brakes, bleed the clutch, give it a fine tune and timing fettling, some minor wiring tidying.... fuel up and you're away... like below!
Its had so much work completed recently so minimal time effort and enthusiasm needed to get you there - all things im lacking currently, mostly time. Work, family commitments (4 kids) and a busy life have made me recalibrate some of my commitments and time sponges, really sad this is one of them.
Im based down in Sunny Dorset, Blandford Forum.
Have good courier connections that can deliver UK wide by agreement.
Happy to consider PX and Cash my way with a standard Minor or British classic ive been asking £10k but open to sensible offers or deals to you guys on here, if your serious please get in touch and we'll talk - happy to do a deal if it goes this week so really im open to offers.

The bad bits.
- Has a few blemishes around the bodywork as per the embeded video. Nothing major, looks super smart when show ready, has a few microblisters on the fiberglass areas but the bonded wings and bodywork has no cracks or rust. The wak around video will point out Every single mark on the bodywork.
- Wiring could do with being redone. Its an older conversion thats been added to, Ive bought a new Kit car Fuse control box that I'll include with the car, saying that everytbing works.
- Needs some time spent getting carb mixtures set up and running nicely as the timings out and its not been on the road for a few years so someone elses chance to put their stamp on it.
- One stud snapped on the exhaust manifold needs extracting.
- One front wheels toe in - needs tracking.
- Brakes bled through again, the master cylinder may need looking at - new seal kit included.
- Clutch bled through, kit included.
