Hey Stitch, why not just delete from I Tunes library but click keep file?

Correct, if you delete it to recycle bin you will loose it on next sync.

Hey try a manual sync that way it might not remove it?

 

Thanks mate but it's always been set to Manually Sync and I still get the message , I've discovered a thing called idump (snigger) which allows you to save the tunes from your ipod to PC but that will defeat my object , I'm trying to have a bit of a clear out as my PC is very old and doesn't have a uber huge hard rive
